Promote your music

If you’re an Australian jazz or improvising musician, there are many ways can help you promote your music.


Consider taking out one of our high visibility adverts on the top or side of web pages. at $60 a week or $200 for the month, it’s a very cost effective way to get your news out to thousands of people a month.

Suggest a track for our listening room

Our listening room gets quite a bit of traffic – why not send us a link to your favourite track from your new release and we’ll consider including it on the page.

A guest post

We love well-written posts from jazz musicians. If you have a story to tell, why not tell it online? We’ll include links to your event or news and we’ll also help by promoting on social media.

Your media release

If you’re releasing a new CD, or planning a tour of your music, then send us the media release and we’ll put it online, and promote with social media.

Simply send us

  • a media release in Word or PDF (make sure it’s publishable. Find out how here: Better press Releases for jazz musicians
  • an image (e.g. cover image for your CD) at least 1000 pixels wide on the longest edge
  • Soundcloud, Bandcamp or YouTube link so people can hear a sample of the music


We have a limited pool of reviewers and limited funds to pay them, so there’s no guarantee that sending us your CD for review will get a review published on However, if you have contacts who would be able to review the CD for you, we’d consider publishing it, so by all means pitch the idea to us.
