If you’re an Australian improvising / jazz musician or a record label releasing a recording by an Australian improvising / jazz musician, we’d be happy to help you promote your release, by including your CD in our CD Releases category.
Before you get the postpack out to send us a CD!!
We have very limited resources so please help us out by sending the following by email:
- media release and related stories
- cover art
- related tour dates and venues
- links to where people can buy the music
- links to where people can hear samples
Some hints for your email…
- text should be in pdf, Word, or typed into your email
- images should be at least 300 px wide on their shortest side and in jpg or png format
Review copies (physical CDs)
- We can’t always guarantee a review for your CD. We have a small pool of reviewers and a tiny budget.
- If one of our reviewers asks to review the CD, we’d like to be able to contact you and ask for a review copy to be sent. That’s actually easier for us than to have you sending through a CD.
Giveaways
- In your email, please indicate whether you’d be willing to offer 3-5 CDs for giveaways to our newsletter readers.
